Delivering surgical education and training during the COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging, however much effort has been put into considering how to maximise training opportunities.

This webinar will be an opportunity for trainees and trainers to feedback ongoing concerns or issues, as well as a forum to discuss what is being done, or could be done to enhance surgical training at a time when NHS clinical activity is diverted to other priorities.

There will be contributions from Trainees, JCST chair, Heads of Schools of Surgery and the Statutory Education Bodies.

The panel includes:

Professor Rowan Parks (Chair), RCSEd Vice-President.
Mr Tim Graham, RCSEd Council Member, Chair of Standards and Chair of CoPSS.
Mr Jon Lund, Chair of Joint Committee on Surgical Training (JCST).
Professor Simon Gregory, Deputy Medical Director, Health Education England
Miss Lolade Giwa, Vice President ASiT.
Mr Ran Wei, President BOTA.
