This is a Zoom conversation about sinus surgery that Dr. Stacey Gray and I had for the American Rhinologic Society’s Summer Sinus Symposium in place of a traditional surgical prosection due to the restrictions on conferences based on the COVID-19 pandemic. I went through and narrated some short basic sinus surgery videos. You’ll see examples of chronic sinusitis with and without nasal polyps, and examples of maxillary antrostomy, ethmoidectomy, sphenoidotomy, and frontal sinus surgery. Frontal sinus examples range from Draf II through Draf III.
As this is a video compilation, individual anatomy is not first reviewed on CT for each portion. I will work on posting other videos where we can go into more detail about pre-operative review of imaging and how that can help you plan your surgery.
