Bruce Burdon (Manager, Market Access Liaison and Cooperation, MPI) and Dr Rod Lamberts (Deputy Director, Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (CPAS), Australian National University) spoke on food standards and their effects on international trade and frameworks that support novel foods.
The New Zealand Food Safety Lecture Series 2019 featured two lectures in Auckland, a lecture in Christchurch, and one in Wellington. At each lecture, experts spoke on food safety issues and audience members had the chance to ask questions.
